Path Logic was founded in 1999 as a renal biopsy service and for two years the laboratory was singularly focused on providing services to nephrologists. This intense client focus produced a service culture for excellence and innovation that clinician clients embraced and led the laboratory to expand into all areas of anatomic pathology. The company is still committed to providing best-of-breed service to their customers exemplified by rapid test turnaround time and precise but succinct and attractive result reports that are delivered using the latest technology (e.g. Internet, IT interfaces).

Working with a broad spectrum of subspecialized pathologists (currently 14) makes Path Logic unique and allows the lab to confidently offer a comprehensive anatomic pathology (AP) test menu. Path Logic markets a broad product offering including in-patient (hospital) and out-patient anatomic pathology (AP) and esoteric testing primarily related to cancer care or chronic medical diseases. Some of the most common types of biopsy samples received by Path Logic include skin, colon, kidney, breast and prostate tissue. In addition, Path Logic is focused on women's health with advaned testing in gynecologic and breast diagnostics. Specimens are received from physician offices, outpatient surgery centers, and hospitals.
